Chacha Nehru Park was constructed in 2002, it serves as the point for morning walkers, and children play ground. The regular amusement present in the park for children includes slides, swings, see-saws, etc., and are located at the end of the park for which one has to cross the semi drainage area in the middle of the park. The long lawns and ample amount of space for walkers make it comfortable for people to move to every corner of the park.
Chacha Nehru Park is open from morning 5 Am to 11 Am and 4.30 Pm to 8.30 Pm in the evening hours. The entry price for morning walkers is Rs 1, for children its Rs 1 and for adults it’s Rs 3. It has also Rs 20 per month offer for daily morning walkers.
After the formation Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) was taken into consideration for development and it have been into the present shape with cleanliness measures.
The closest landmarks to this park are Golconda Hotel or it’s located opposite to Dano Daram Sanjiva. If you want to come by MMTS train then make sure you get down at Lakdi-ka-Pul station and then take an auto from there.
