Eat Street is a perfect place in Hyderabad that you can hang out with your friends and family for a lovely evening sideby Hussainsagarlake. This is a popular hangout destination for all age groups in Hyderabad. You can see the clear picture view of Buddha Statue in the middle of Hussain Sagar lake which looks lovely.
The Eat Street is also a food court you that you can have Pizza, Coffee, ice creams and others from the popular brands of Pizza Hut, Minerva Coffee Shop, Baskin Robbins and McDonalds. The Chat section is by the Ohri’s counter section which serves a number of chaat items. You can go with typical India Dahi Puri, Golgappas, Chana Bhatura, Dahi Papdi, Pav Bhaji, Aaloo Chat, Raj Kachori, Pani Puri and other Indian foods. They also serve Malpua and Jalebi which is really worth to taste here.
I really love SubWay food and I was surprise to see the recent addition of Subway counter here which serves evergreen sandwiches on the menu. The Minerva Coffee house is the first one to open here at 7 in the morning caters coffee, dosas, idli and uttapams. And who can forget the Hyderabad Biryani, its everywhere in Hyderabad then why not in Eat Street serving you with Vegetarian, Chicken and Mutton Biryani. Also included are the North India items like Rajma Rice, Naan, Roti, Tandoori and varieties of Paneer.
There is sufficient enough seating space available with well-furnished chairs and tables. The seating is arranged in three places – near the food court which is hampered with music, near the waterfront with good enough view of lake and upstairs on the terrace where you can find a calm ambiance. One can always find boys with their girlfriends and it has been couples favorite hangout place.
Recently there is availability of boating facility managed by Eat Street authority with various speed boat, motor boats and normal boats. I wish I could visit it sometime near on weekend to provide pricing of it.
And for children there is ample amount of play area with rides, slides, jumping frog and open play area open to all. Visiting this place you should take care of the parking facility as there is not much provision for easy parking.
Eat Street Timings
Eager to visit Eat Street, so make sure that you get on to here. As I said Minerva counter here opens at 7 AM, remaining others functions from 11 Am till 11 Pm in the midnight.
How to Reach
Go on to the Necklace Road and you can find Eat Street easily with the help of Road Signs. It’s exactly located opposite of the Necklace Road MMTS Station. There are board signs too which can help you on the Necklace Road.
Overall, Eat Street is a great place with good value for money. You should check Eat Street if you are in found of true Hyderabad experience. Great concept to have evening snacks like fast food beside the famous lake and the road passing through it.
