Hyderabad Health MuseumHyderabad is among the top historical cities in India that depicts the architectural brilliance of bygone era with the monuments located all over the city. The Hyderabad Health Museum is one of those monuments which reveal the historical constructions. Hyderabad Health Museum was established in 1948 and its one of the notable attractions of Hyderabad. It’s located close to public garden in the city.

As you enter the gate you would see the words of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru clearly written at the entrance. There has been no major present day flavours and attraction to this building but its retains the past and brilliant architectural craftsmanship of late 40s. The building is divided into separate sections that consist of two larges halls.

The health museum has got posters talking about various diseases, their causes and cures. It has dedicated sections for food, Nutrition, Anatomy, Immunization, Water-Borne Diseases, Leprosy and Sanitation section. There is also a completely dedicated room for motherhood and childbirth. A visit to this museum would be a little educational for you in the matter of health but primarily it has remained a functional body without providing latest information and educational studies.

Hyderabad Health Museum is open from 10.30 Am to 5.30 Pm and its closed on Sunday. The good thing about it is that it has free entry and any one can visitit. The closest APSRTC bus stop is Public Garden and the closest railways station is Nampally.
