Hyderabad MMTS TrainHyderabad MMTS Train abbrevated Multi Modal Transport System Trains are the intea city trains runs in the city of Secunderabad and Hyderabad covering the adjoining area with faster means of transport. The MMTS train project is inspired by the Delhi based Metro trains. Its estimated that more than 1,20,000 commuters use MMTS train journey daily. Its a joint venture launched by State government of Andhra Pradesh and South Central Railways and its operational since August 2003.

The route map is simple, it starts or ends at three major stations namely Falaknuma (South of Hyderabad), Lingampally (West of Hyderabad) and Nampally Railway station in the city center.
