James Street Police StationJames Street Police Station is one of the heritages building in Hyderabad. You would be interesting to note that this is a police station.  This police station is named as Ramgopalpet Police station but that just the official name of it and most of the people known it by James Street Police station, moreover at the top of the entrance its written clearly “James Street Police Station” as its located on the MG Road (erstwhile James Street), Secunderabad, Andhra Pradesh.

According to the Hyderabad City Policy, this police station falls under the central zone. The Hussain Sagar lake police come under the jurisdiction of this station.

At the top of it you can clearly see a clock which was donated by Dwan Bahadur Seth Ramgopal in the year 1900. There are no supporting articles on web about Dwan Bahadur Seth Ramgopal.

On 23 March 1998, Ramgopalpet Police station building was designated as a heritage building by AP state government.

How to Reach

Mostly, one would reach police station if you have any civil problem or police related problems but this police station is clearly visible on the road itself as you take on to MG Road connecting Paradise X Road and Ranigunj.
