Sanghi Temple is one of the best and most visited temples for Hindus located in outskirts of Hyderabad city. It’s very close to famous and known Ramoji Film City.

Sanghi Temple is constructed on a hill called Paramanand Giri located in the Sanghi Industries locality. Sanghi Temple has a number of Hindu Gods constructed in South India style of architecture and the primary being the shrine of Lord Balaji or Lord Venkateshwara which is 10 feet tall and its faces the main entrance through beautifully carved doors.

As soon as you enter the main entrance gate at foot the hill you will find the Lord Anjaneya temple. Once you cross it you have either two choices – either travel by car round the temple or go through few steps to reach the temple. Each of the sculptures present in the Sanghi temple is very nicely carved and ambiance in this temple can’t be found elsewhere in Hyderabad.

Sanghi Temple is prime location for the movie location whenever there is a need for film shoot which needs Hindu temple theme as it’s closely located to Ramoji Film City. We have quite often seen this in many of the Tollywood movies and few Bollywood movies.

The temple is open from 5 Am top 10.30 Am in the morning and from 4 Pm to 8 Pm in the evening for the visitors on all the days. You need to head towards Vijayawada from Hyderabad on National Highway 9 and at Pedda Amberpet you need to take a left turn towards Sanghi.

Sanghi Temple is located 32 km away from the city center. Though there is connectivity through APSRTC buses but it’s rare, the best option would be hire an auto or private car, as cabs don’t travel to this route.
