Did you know that there are only two famous temples in India which are especially dedicated to Goddess Ashtalakshmi. Ashtalakshmi Temple located in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh is a special temple with thousands of devotees visiting this place which is spread over an area of 5 acres.

Ashtalakshmi Temple is a temple with group of eight Goddesses which represent as a sources of wealth and power of Shri Lakshmi. The eight forms of Goddess Lakshmi and its replicas present in the temple are Adi Lakshmi, Dhana Lakshmi, Dhanya Lakshmi, Gaja Lakshmi, Santana Lakshmi, Vijaya Lakshmi, Aishwarya Lakshmi and Vara Lakshmi. The replicas of Sriman Narayana, Sri Garuda, Sri Ganapathi and Shree Lakshmi are present at the center of the eight replicas of Shree Lakshmi present on the edges of all corner facing the center.

Ashtalakshmi Temple is marvelous construction with modest equipment and facilities. Subbaiah Sthapathi an artistic designed the replicas of all the God and Goddess present inside the temple. All in together this temple has another 134 minor idols lesser known Gods.

Ashtalakshmi Temple gets maximum of visitors during the times of Brahmotsavam which is an annual festive held during the month of September and October. The best time to visit the temple is from August to February. It’s located in Vasavi Colony in Dilsukhnagar of Hyderabad. One can easily reach here with bus facility very flexible.

It’s open on all the days from 6 Am to 9 Pm with Poojas in between, during which the darshanam is not allowed.
