Gymkhana Ground is open for clubs and private teams for playing matches and for practices. By paying Rs 10,000 per team you can practice and play matches. Its also available for private purchases for one day matches at a price of Rs 12,500. There are around more than 200 clubs registered with Hyderabad Cricket Association and they are responsible for organizing and scheduling leagues matches between them.

The Gymkhana Ground includes a well equipped and maintained gym. It provides all the necessary fitness equipments to the players who tour as a national player. In addition to the pitch and playing area there is considerable amount of area dedicated to net practice. This is also the host for Duleep Tropy & Ranji Trophy matches held in Hyderabad.

Apart from that the office, store room and rest room are very badly maintained which makes you feel that you are still in 20th century when cricket was cricket but not religion.

The Gymkhana Ground is maintained by the Hyderabad Cricket Club. The Gymkhana Ground is the place from where the guns from Hyderabad are produced who all came here to practices. It includes players like VVS Laxman, Mohd. Azharrudin, Shiv lal Yadav, Venkatapathy Raju among the prominent players.

How to Reach

The closest land mark to Gymkhana Ground is Paradise Circle. From the Paradise Circle you need to take on to the Road leading towards Mumbai i.e., National Highway number 9 and few distance you would be able to spot Gymkhana Ground. The Gymkhana Ground includes Gymkhana Cricket Stadium visible from the Sardar Patel Road Flyover at Secunderabad Patny Center. Also adjacent to Gymkhana Ground we have Parade ground.
