There are many churches of architectural value in Hyderabad and Secunderabad. These churches very primarily constructed during the British rule in the nineteenth century and early twentieth centuries. Most of the prominent churches are located in and around the historic Clock Tower and the Abids area. We have seen St Joseph’s Cathedral, Holy Trinity Church in Bollaram, Wesley Church and the All Saints Church.
The All Saints Church is located in Tirumalgiri locality of Secunderabad. The church comes under the province of Secunderabad with Diocese of Medak. It was constructed in 1860 AD to serve the worshipping place for the Britishers who lived in Cantonment of Secunderabad. The church is built in imposing Gothic structure with a tower belfry. The altar of the church depicts the Jesus carrying the cross.
In 1983 Queen Elizabeth II visited the church along with Holy Trinity Church where she celebrated her 36th wedding anniversary along with Prince Philip to accompany her.
